Dawn Dale

Dawn’s primary focus is ecological art realized in large scale outdoor, site-specific works and ephemeral organic installations in gallery spaces, often accompanied with experimental drawings. She has exhibited across Canada, the United States, Mexico, Bolivia and Japan. An active member in the arts community through the artist-run centres and artists collectives, she has curated and facilitated exhibitions and fundraisers. Recent projects include installation works for the NCC Canal Art Festival in 2011, the first Nuit Blanche Ottawa in 2012, and Chinatown Blossoms 2013 -2014. She teaches Diploma Sculpture, Public Art and children’ summer camps at the Ottawa School of Art.
