Gail holds an MFA from Concordia University. She is a founding member of Powerhouse Gallery (La Centrale, Montreal, 1973). She has founded or formed part of a dozen artists’ collectives and has been exhibiting professionally since 1985 in Canada and internationally. Previous solo exhibitions include: Incidental things, Research-in-Art Artist Project Room, Ottawa (2011) and Particle Factor, IPO Gallery, Ottawa (2008). In 2014, she also published, Tangential Exploration, an artist’s envelope project.
